Social networking

Okay, I am behind in my Project Play posts! This is for week 5 on social networking. I looked at a few libraries' sites and am kind of on the fence about the whole thing. I did like Denver PL's site, especially the kitty YouTube thing! I think it is a good idea to have libraries out there and some of the content is good for people to see but it seems like some of the comments kids leave are more like for the other kids to see than towards the library or community. Or they are ads (excuse me, adds!) I looked at the Pawtucket Public Library's site and thought it was kind of boring but on the other hand cleaner-looking. Kenton County's was interesting ; I did like the widgets on the left that were lists of new materials. I guess we will have to see how this all plays out.
